Recent Assignments
For a leading consumer appliance manufacturer, we met the goal of reducing the measured equipment noise by coating the product subject to a tight cost-per-unit budget.
For a leading HVAC manufacturer, we developed a set of recommendations for reducing the machinery noise level.
For the U.S. Navy, we quieted the X-Craft by up to 18dB, precursor of the Navy’s Littoral Combat Ship program. QS Labs was involved in pre-testing, coating and post-testing the ship.
We have developed custom application polymer formulations for many large manufacturers in a variety of industries.
For large builders, we regularly perform STC and IIC acoustical tests in condo complexes, single family homes, and commercial developments. We also can locate and recommend solutions to real world noise issues.

In addition to our volume manufacturing, Quiet Solution maintains world class engineering capabilities as well. Our mission is to partner with key customers to develop and test next-generation systems that deliver high noise isolation, energy conservation (thermal), RF/EM mitigation and blast resistance for the construction, transportation, machinery and defense sectors. QS Labs manages an extensive internal and external test program to ensure that Quiet Solution products meet building codes, industry and legal standards throughout their life cycle. QS Labs has established a reputation for technical innovation in high-performance material and product development.
Driven by market requirements and customer performance expectations, we use cutting-edge technology to create material, configuration, manufacturing and processing specifications. We develop, analyze and test new polymers to meet the demands of the marketplace and private-label and OEM customers for demanding applications. The Lab specializes in environmentally sound water-based polymers.
The Acoustics Lab uses extensive research experience and technology to test new QS developed coatings, polymers and construction materials. Our research and product development experience includes appliances, boats, cars, ships, aircraft, residential and commercial construction including room noise and home theaters as well as many other applications. Before and following installation, our acoustic engineers are available to field verify performance (such as NIC, STC and IIC) to recognized international test methods. We also review plans and recommend solutions for a variety of construction projects including new build and remediation.
